Often found crawling under a truck or trailer to keep the trucks working in perfect order on a daily basis, responsible for booking vehicle servicing and MOT’s. An experienced HGV Instructor with excellent feedback from customers and a pass-rate to match.

In his spare time he likes to tinker with his classic cars and motorbikes, most of which are much older than himself and also spend time with his family, especially his son who looks to be engine mad too! Favourite drink – Dandelion and Burdock.

Completely dedicated to delivering the best HGV Driver Training possible, always goes the extra mile to ensure candidates have the very best opportunity to pass their driving tests, no stone is left unturned in the process and every possible angle is always covered – Jeff is very thorough!

In his spare time he likes to play golf, apparently he is quite good but in comparison to the rest of us, that wouldn’t be difficult! Favourite drink is Heineken Zero.

Often towering above the rest of us short people, a gentle giant that customers just love, he has a way of connecting with other people that can only be described as a gift and not learnt.

Very experienced and capable instructor who has spent the last 15+ years delivering high quality HGV Training at Wetherby Training and previously with all of us at Tockwith Training before the business owners retired.

In his spare time he likes to enjoy the countryside and is not shy of entering the occasional pub! Favourite drink – Anything alcoholic

Very knowledgeable and resourceful at delivering approved training courses such as CPC training to existing drivers and teaching forklift drivers the skills they need to do their job safely.

Very experienced within the haulage sector having operated his own business and being involved with almost every area of transport, a registered Transport Manager and holder of more training certificates than the average professor!

In his spare time he is a Suba Diving Instructor so you could say teaching is his life! Favourite drink – well looked after ales.

Sean Stammers is not just any HGV instructor; he’s a training mastermind who excels in instilling confidence in his candidates, whether they’re behind the wheel of an HGV or a coach. With his profound knowledge and expert teaching methods, Sean ensures that each trainee not only masters the practical skills but also gains the assurance needed to succeed.

Beyond his professional prowess, Sean is a man of diverse interests. A lover of music, history, and the great outdoors, he’s as comfortable discussing the intricacies of historical events as he is exploring scenic trails. Sean’s well-rounded knowledge makes him an invaluable teammate in any pub quiz, known for his ability to recall both incredibly useful facts and amusing trivia.

As the welcoming face and primary contact at Wetherby Training, Lauren excels in fostering relationships with our valued clients and customers. With her strong background in sales and recruitment, she passionately supports candidates in enhancing their careers by guiding them towards obtaining new licenses and skills.

Efficient and organised, Lauren ensures our office operations run smoothly, backed by her dedication to delivering first-class customer service. She’s also a skilled HGV driver, having initially obtained her Class 2 license for her horsebox, subsequently upgrading to Class 1, and is now progressing towards her Coach/Bus license.
